Evening and Sunday changes
From Sunday October 28th there will be major changes to evening and Sunday services on most of the Peterborough city network. The evening changes apply on Mondays to Saturdays except where otherwise shown.

Citi 2 - there will be a new evening and Sunday service to Bretton Centre via Netherton, Longthorpe, Thorpe Wood and South Bretton. The evening service will leave Queensgate half-hourly to 1930 then hourly to 2230. The Sunday service will run half-hourly during shopping hours and hourly Sunday evening.
Citi 3 - the evening service to Whittlesey will be withdrawn (meaning Stanground will be served hourly by Yaxley journeys). However, Whittlesey will now be served on Sundays, with an hourly service during shopping hours.
Citi 4 - evening and Sunday journeys will leave 15 minutes later than at present.
Citi 5 - evening and Sunday journeys will leave 30 minutes later than at present.
Citi 6 - the evening service to Hampton will be extended to run all evening, with hourly journeys from Queensgate 1950-2250 (the last journey extends to Sawtry replacing the last journey on route 16). Hampton will also gain a new Sunday service, leaving Queensgate hourly 0850 to 2250.
Cavalier 415 - this becomes a half-hourly Orton Northgate - Orton Centre - Serpentine Green service, and there will also be a new Sunday service on this route. Lynch Wood is no longer served, and the evening Queensgate - Hampton - Orton service is withdrawn, as is Stagecoach's Sunday service 415 (recently renumbered from 15), replaced by the additional journeys on Stagecoach citi 1 and 6.

Oundle Road Diversion (revised item)
Due to roadworks being carried out by EDF Energy, Oundle Road will become one way (outbound) between Town Bridge and New Road from Monday August 28th until March 2008. Buses operating inbound to the City will be diverted via New Road and London Road, but buses operating from the city are not affected. Originally it was to have been outbound buses that were to be diverted via New Road but this was changed after protests from shopkeepers. Stops not being served on inbound journeys during this closure are Earl Spencer Court, Guild House and The Cherry Tree Public House.

Further changes in September
Stagecoach 16 - From September 3rd the 1245 from Peterborough will no longer serve Folksworth but the 1615 journey will instead serve the village. There are some minor timing changes at the Huntingdon end of the route as a consequence.
Service 37 - The 1630 Peterborough to Spalding journey will run 20 minutes earlier throughout from September 3rd.
Fowler 138 - Fowler's service from Fleet Hargate to Peterborough (now numbered 138 it seems) will cease to run on Fridays, meaning that from August 29th it will run only on Wednesdays.
Local Link 402 - From September 3rd the 0805 Ailsworth to Stamford journey will be extended back to start from Queensgate at 0745. The 1635 Stamford to Bretton journey will also be extended, arriving Queensgate at 1735.
Local Link 408 - With the opening of the Voyager School, additional journeys will be added on schooldays from September 3rd linking Bretton Centre and North Bretton with the school every 15 minutes from 0708 to 0838, returning from the school in the afternoon.

Major changes to Oundle area from September 3rd
Stagecoach will be introducing a package of changes to their Oundle area routes from September 3rd as follows:
Service X4 - There will be a revised timetable, with daytime journeys towards Peterborough running around 15 minutes later. Evening journeys from Peterborough will run 20 minutes later, with the last departure (to Northampton) being at 2030. The Sunday service is unchanged.
Service 13/13A - Rerouted via Cotterstock and Tansor (instead of Glapthorn and Southwick) at the Oundle end of the route, replacing service 14, and also serves Fotheringhay. Between Kings Cliffe and Peterborough the 13 will continue to serve Stibbington but will then run to and from Peterborough via Ailsworth and Castor rather than Alwalton (this will mean the end of buses running from Elton to Stibbington passing Sibson Aerodrome - a curious routeing currently taken only by the 1745 from Peterborough). There will be an additional journey from Peterborough to Kings Cliffe at 0950, continuing to Oundle, and a new afternoon journey from Oundle at 1315 via Kings Cliffe to Peterborough.
Service 14 - This route number will be used only by the Orton Northgate service (with the exception of an early morning journey from Oundle Rockingham Hills), the country service to Oundle and Thrapston being renumbered X14. However, the service will be extended beyond Newcombe Way to Orton Southgate, performing a clockwise loop (Southgate Way and Bakewell Road) to the RNIB. This restores an all-day service between the city centre and Orton Southgate, lost in April 2004 when the citi network was introduced.
Service X14 - This is the new number for the country part of service 14, which will be considerably speeded up. It will leave Peterborough via Thorpe Road rather than Oundle Road, and will no longer serve Orton Waterville (still served hourly by 14). Tansor and Cotterstock will no longer be served (replaced by service 13), with buses taking the shorter main road route between Warmington and Oundle, which will be reached in 35 minutes. Warmington and Oundle will benefit from an increased hourly service, since there will no longer be journeys terminating short at Elton, although residents of the latter village will now have to walk up to the main road to catch their service at the Black Horse. The speeding up means that Oundle effectively gets a half-hourly service in conjunction with the X4. The northern part of Oundle (St Peters Road and Rockingham Hills) will revert to being served by journeys extended beyond Oundle, two of which also extend to Glapthorn and Southwick. The extension beyond the main street in Thrapston to the Leisure Centre is withdrawn, but there will be a new 1655 Thrapston - Peterborough journey, giving four journeys in that direction (still three from Peterborough). One journey from Peterborough and two from Thrapston will take a completely new routeing between Oundle and Thrapston serving Stoke Doyle, Wadenhoe, Aldwincle and Islip, replacing infrequent former Alec Head services latterly operated by Stagecoach.
Service 15 - This new service replaces former Alec Head routes 203 and 205, but runs on Mondays to Saturdays instead of just Wednesdays and Saturdays. It runs from Oundle to Peterborough via Polebrook, Lutton, Folksworth and Yaxley, with one morning journey to Peterborough and two afternoon journeys back to Oundle.

Cavalier Travel 331 and 337
